Veena

Veena’s journey into alternative provision began when her son was unlawfully excluded from school. Refusing to accept a system that didn’t meet every child’s needs, she set out to create something different: a place where young people are listened to, parents are valued, and teachers work in true partnership.

As a clinical hypnotherapist and trauma release practitioner, Veena helps children develop vital emotional regulation skills through breath-work and boxing. She believes these tools are just as important as academic learning — empowering children to thrive not only in school, but in life.

Her background as an award-winning radio presenter and marketing consultant brings creativity, communication skills, and innovation to the provision’s digital and creative programmes.
